Here are the different steps to finance your project on WineFunding
Upload your personal information as well as your company’s information.
Send us a presentation of your estate and the project, aswell as a list of your wines and their prices. We will let you know if we think we can help and how: increasing the equity (between several hundred thousand euros and several million euros), a bond with interest in wine (50,000€ to 200,000€), or a “loan” reimbursed in wine (20,000€ to 50,000€).

If your project seems “WineFundable”, we will ask you to send samples of your wines to our experts who will access their quality and whether they are appropriate for WineFunders.
This “flash audit” will take place over half a day and will be carried out by an independent consultancy firm who are specialized in wine estates.
For « loans » reimbursed in wine, we will put together a model for the repayment period and the number of bottles to be offered in return. For bonds, we will calculate how many bonds to issue and the interest offered. And for equity projects, we will work together to value your company and the stake in the company you are willing to offer to finance your project.
For capital projects, we will appoint independent experts (lawyers, accountants, agronomists, etc.) to carry out in-depth audits on the legal, fiscal, social, economic and financial aspects of your company and the project.
This will help us better understand your company, to estimate its value and to reassure investor. While we do this, you may discover ways to improve your business.

To convince WineFunders to join your adventure, we will help you prepare a presentation of your estate and a video.
If needed, we will put you in contact with a specialist who we think could help you improve your communication to make sure your campaign is successful (redesign of your internet site, online presence…)

We offer, in priority, the investment opportunity to your contacts (Family, friends, clients…), this will then help attract investors from our network to your project, and who don’t know your company yet. We will help you communicate through social media and create a “buzz”. You can take part in WineFunding events and meet potential contributors and investors who can try your wine before getting involved.
As soon as the target has been reached, we can either close the campaign or decide to prolong it, if you need more funds. After the campaign has closed, we will transfer the funds into your bank account, and you can realize your project.
You can participate in WineFunding events as long as WineFunders are still in possession of financial securities issued by your company, e.g., the duration of the loan. This allows you to meet your WineFunders as well as investors from other WineFunding estates and broaden your customer base.
For projects which have been financed by a capital increase, at the end of a period, defined in the investor contract (for example 5 or 10 years), you can buy back the share of your company if you want to and can financially. If you would like to continue with external shareholders, we recommend you continue with your existing WineFunding investors and find other third-party investors
