In 2018, the wines you receive will be from the 2015 vintage; the vintage will then change every year. Meaning in 2019 you will receive the 2016 vintage, in 2020 the 2017 vintage and in 2021 the 2018 vintage. The prices indicated are for delivery in mainland France (Corsica not included). If you are not a French tax resident

If you are not a French tax resident, you are exempt from the 30% tax at source applied on all interests from company bonds. As a non-French tax resident, you receive “gross” interests; this means your interest is not taxed 30% at the source by the company. For example, this is 150 € a year if you choose the “CLARISSE #6” worth 4000€. This is equivalent to 8.6 bottles of Château Clarisse with the ambassador price (17.50€). This is rounded up to 9 bottles each year.

Please note you will still need to declare the interest you receive in your home country. Please send us an email stating that you are not a French tax resident.

There are two options available for non-French tax residents:

1. You receive the number of bottles delivered to your country of residence indicated on the offer. The tax paid by the company will instead be used to cover the extra cost of international shipping to Europe. Please contact us for more information about international shipping outside of Europe.

2. You can choose to receive extra bottles of wine equal to the value of the tax that will not be paid by the company. Please note that there will be an additional cost of shipping as the company will send you more wine whether it be in France or abroad. If you can receive the wines in mainland France, Corsica not included, (Family, Friends, or secondary residence) the extra cost of shipping will be far less. You can choose the amount you lend (between 2000 and 9000€) depending on the wine you want to receive as interests over four years.

For example, if you choose the “CLARISSE #6” plan you lend 4000€ and receive:

• 1000€ into your bank account every year for four years. (capital reimbursement)
• 1 case of 6 bottles of Château Clarisse AOC Puisseguin-St-Emilion delivered straight to your door every year for four years. (payment of interests as wine)

Please note that this is a real company bond, with 6% interests in cash; however, you choose to receive the interests as wine which is equivalent to 10 % interests. This means you must declare in your end of year tax declaration the value of the wines you receive as interests. We will send you a financial statement each year.

The equivalent annual interest rate is approximately 10% for payment in wine and not 6 %; this is calculated using the public price of the wine, 30% tax paid by the company, and the cost of delivery.
