REFUNDS IN WINE OR

ACCOMODATION AT THE CHÂTEAU

THE CONCEPT PROPOSED BY WINEFUNDING IS VERY SIMPLE:

  • You "lend" a sum of money to the winemaker: you choose the amount and duration
  • The winemaker "pays you back" by sending you the wines you have chosen for the duration you have chosen

You may also choose to receive reimbursement in the form of accommodation at the château (see below).

Thus, the funds for the project are readily available, and you support the winemaker financially while benefiting from discounts prices on wines. In addition, you avoid inflation and price increases.

REFUNDS IN WINE

Packages and reimbursement periods are presented in the scheme below. For example, if you choose a « Pack Plaisir » for three vintages, you pay € 125 and receive a box of 6 bottles each year for 3 years:

  • In June 2016: 3 bottles of Échappée Bel (White) and 3 bottles of Château Bel (Red) vintage 2014
  • In June 2017: 3 bottles of Échappée Bel (White) and 3 bottles of Château Bel (Red) vintage 2015
  • In June 2018 3 bottles of Échappée Bel (White) and 3 bottles of Château Bel (Red) vintage 2016

Depending on the wine, the most suitable vintage will be selected each year in order to enjoy the wines to their fullest:

Whites will be offered in a newly vinified vintage while Pomerol wines, in need of several years of maturation before degustation, will be offered with an offset/interval of 4 to 5 years.

Prices include delivery in France. For deliveries in other areas, a supplement may be charged.

Refunds in accommodation at the château

Château de Bel has an independent cottage which can accommodate 3-4 people in a traditional stone building which has been renovated with taste. The domain is situated in a peaceful and bucolic area along the Dordogne river.

If you choose to be reimbursed in accommodation at the domain, you need to specify the number of nights. Nights may be used all at once or spaced out over several years according to your needs. You will have to liaise with Château de Bel to book your nights.

Our advice: combine Wine and Accommodation packages : enjoy a stay at the Château and collect your wines. For example, if you choose a 3 vintages formula, you can select 6 nights in order to spend 2 nights each year. You will be able to learn more about the vintage and follow the evolution of the project towards biodynamics.
