DOMAINE BOTT
A story about passion:
It all began in Ampuis when we were working in a winery in Côte-Rôtie. Our passion for wine brought us closer and very quickly we had the desire to create our own domaine. The appellations and the wines of the North Rhone Valley such as CONDRIEU, CÔTE-RÔTIE, SAINT-JOSEPH and SEYSSUEL have always excited us because the influence of terroir is extremely rich and complex.
It was therefore obvious for us to create our domaine in 2015 on the land and appellations which are the birthplace of Viognier and Syrah.
An attentive approach:
All of our work is done 100% manually. Both of us plant, and hand tend our vines in our small steep vineyards. This allows us to be attentive in our approach, and work meticulously with the sole aim of obtaining high quality and healthy grapes. We want to master every detail from the plantation to winemaking, following our convictions and our emotions to obtain precise wines which reflect their terroir.
Wines of the Domaine :
As we waited for our vineyards to grow, we started working with growers who share the same philosophy as us. We were able to develop our range of wines in the appellations of CONDRIEU, CÔTE-RÔTIE, SAINT-JOSEPH and CROZES-HERMITAGE, now available for sale from the 2016 and 2017 vintages.
