Exceptional terroir and organic viticulture for a rare wine

Château EDMUS is a small-scale estate of 1.6 hectares, carefully tended and pampered on a daily basis by a talented team led by Stéphane Derenoncourt.

The vineyard, composed of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc, is planted on a superb terroir and cultivated biodynamically. The result is a wine of great elegance, with true originality thanks to its old Cabernet Franc grapes.

Laurent

A passionate neo-winegrower

Laurent David, a former Apple and Nokia executive, is the owner of Château EDMUS. He is originally from Bergerac, where he used to pick grapes with his grandfather. For Laurent, the acquisition of this Bordeaux estate is a real return to his roots.

Since 2021, 30 Wine Angels have joined the EDMUS adventure by becoming co-owners of Château EDMUS alongside Laurent, via a fundraising campaign on WineFunding.
