88 points - The 2013 Vacqueyras La Ganse is a solid, well-made effort that offers lots of black raspberry, incense, spring flowers in a touch of meatiness in a pretty, perfumed and medium-bodied style. Made from 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah that was vinified and aged all in concrete tank, it has plenty character and will drink nicely for 5-6 years. Drink: 2015-2021

Tasted blind. Dark crimson. Heady, spicy nose. Precise and dense with a beginning, middle and end. More savour than most – less sweet – but not excessively drying on the end. Just slightly falls away on the finish. 14.5% Drink 2018-2023

Gently sweet black raspberry and lavender flavors show good focus and become deeper and spicier with air. Seamless and vibrant in style, finishing with nervy cut and even tannins that harmonize smoothly with the fruit.
