THE PROJECT
In 2017 I started something I’ve wanted to do for a long time: produce my own white Vacqueyras!
I was lucky enough to buy a small piece of land bordering one of my plots. Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Marsanne have all recently been planted and are just waiting for the Roussannes which I hope to plant soon to complete my new white cuvée.
If the project is successful, the first wine will be ready to taste in the summer of 2021! Three years of hard work are needed before we can taste the fruits of our labor…Supervise the growth of the vine, add the trellising posts, train the vines to wires and much, much more.
What is lovely about this job is being able to grow with the vines and follow them from “birth,” it is like being a mother. And having a nine-year-old boy convinced me that the first years of “life” are the most important when determining the future character. Supplying the perfect conditions for growth from an early age will give them the best chance to fulfill their potential. Afterward, it’s up to vines to produce beautifully ripe and aromatic grapes which I will then try and preserve in the bottle!

The original objective of 30 000€ is the estate’s total needs, however this project can be successful with only 10 000€ and the rest will be raised through traditional ,methods.
